I LIKE this program. It is fast, takes up little space, works on all Macs except the 128K, and is limited only by your RAM and disk space.
To use QuickDEX™, install it in your system file using Font/DAMover or Suitcase or whatever method you normally use.
The demo provided here is functional, but will not save your work. To use the sample data file, type in part of a city name (tuc for Tucson). You may use either capitals or lower case, the DA isn't choosy.
In the fully functional version, creating new data files is painless. Command-n starts a new deck, command-a adds a new card, and so on - or commands can be accessed from the QuickDEX™ menu.
I've recently used it to create a subscriber list for MacCircles. I can search by name, by state, by subscription date, all with lightning speed. All this and a reasonable price as well.
